Rocky and Rachel were introduced by Ben, who is Rachel’s sister Kayla's husband (boyfriend at the time), and one of Rocky’s best friends. Their story began on 3-7-2018 on a double date with Ben and Kayla at Gen Korean BBQ, in Huntington Beach. After a couple of weeks of this date getting canceled and rescheduled, Rachel was about to give up hope that it would happen, but luckily it finally did! They immediately hit it off, and their love story began there.

Like the gentleman Rocky is, he asked Rachel for her number that night and set up a date at the Irvine improv and PF changs for dinner (yum!). From the very beginning, they were smitten with each other, Rocky’s fun personality always kept Rachel laughing, and Rocky knew he'd do his very best to keep this one around!

It was easy for them to be around each other, and they always had fun together. After each of them getting out of a failed relationship after failed relationship, they knew that there was something different in a special way about this one. After 9 months of dating, they had decided to take the next step in their relationship and move in together. The idea couldn't have been better, as it showed them both what an amazing team and match they truly are.

In the time that they’ve spent together, they’ve been blessed to travel to many beautiful places. Some of the places being Hawaii, Canada, and many trips to the lake house where they have made lifetime memories with friends, family and each other. The most memorable trip, however, will always be their trip to Maui that they took with Ben and Kayla. This is the trip where Rocky proposed to Rachel on 12-15-2020. They were all supposed to go on a sunrise hike that morning, but Ben and Kayla canceled at the last minute. Rachel thought they just wanted to sleep in, but little did she know Rocky had made other plans. After they enjoyed the beautiful sunrise, Rocky got down on one knee, and proposed! This was the best day of their lives! 

When they’re not at the lake, they are mostly homebodies hanging with their cat Stewie, and their puppy River. They are so grateful for their life together, and for the love that they share. They make sure to always keep God in the center, as they know they would not have each other without Him.
